I don't know why but I just don't see the SFA doing a 2 league system, I think minimum they would go for is 3 and that is there reason for saying changes are complex! I think they feel a small top league is 'Elite' and will never change that. However, taking a look at the English league system and their large leagues and you can't really say its made them boring especially this season! Unless they SFA bring in more teams from the non-league and up the numbers I dont think we will see 2 leagues of 20 and 22 teams. The qualification for Europe needs to be sorted, this season more than most there have been so many if and buts and if they do this and we do that scenarios its ridiculous! Yes its a bit of a fairytale the mini teams getting into Europe for simply getting into a cup final but is that really fair? It should be based on league positions first and foremost. As for professional Refs... plain and simple our SFA refs are embarrassing at the moment, the worst we have had in many years and I think most of the SPL clubs are in agreement over that. I would also like to wholeheartedly agree with you on what you say about that no good cheating golfer, can't ever bring myself to type his name, I too remember fondly such players as Gary Player ( in fact I actually had a lesson from him, the week after he won the masters in the 70s , lucky me ). And as for that hypocritical bunch of idiots at the SFA, well, I'm just speechless, every other team has been saying about changes since the start and just how unfair it was, but nothing gets done, now one of the uglies gets involved and all hell breaks lose and it'll probably get sorted before next season gets under way.... That means I will never work for the SFA - I suppose I support the wrong team anyway.... The 16 team league would help, but only if sharing income was brought in.
