Pointless!!!!
Yes folks, I’m afraid that is what this blog has become – and has been for quite some time if we are to be really honest. Due to a distinct lack of support from, well almost anybody really, I have decided that, much like the pictured writing implement, there’s “no point” in continuing banging my head against a brick wall.
I am still very, very grateful to each and every one of the 2,509 people who took the time to read and sign the petition and, of course, to the handful of journalists who took it upon themselves to publicise it in one way or another.
But, this blog and the petition, which have both not quite made it to a year old, have come to the end of their useful lives. There is only so far I am willing to go with a “one man campaign” when even the chairmen and owners of most of the football clubs affected by this anti-competitive and, to my mind, unlawful charge can’t be bothered or are too scared to lend me any support.
